| With consumers checking out more than a billion videos a month online, it seems clear that to make a major impact on the Web, companies need a video component on their websites, on Facebook and any where else online that they are trying to reach consumers. Yes, the right words are very important, but they have even more impact when accompanied by moving pictures. DWJ has a package that will provide a company with video for multiple purposes. It could serve as a podcast, video email, sales tool and, with some modifications, as a news package for TV stations. Here are the key elements: Shooting the Video We would write a script, followed by a one-day shoot (more if required) and then edit a two-and-a-half minute piece from that footage. Podcast Video Search Site Distribution The video would then be formatted and posted to multiple online video sites, including YouTube and iTunes. Website Outreach For the web outreach we go through our extensive database of websites by subject matter and demographics, targeting sites that might be interested in the video and then offer it to them so they can download it to their site or link to our URL for the video. We pitch via emails. Blogger Outreach For the blogger outreach, we go through our extensive database of bloggers by subject matter, targeting bloggers who are likely to be interested in the video and then offer it to them so they link to our URL for the video. We pitch via emails but there is also an option for one-on-one phone pitching to web site producers and/or bloggers. Media Distribution (MNR) We can also send a news release with a URL link to the podcast to key newspapers, television and radio stations in all 50 states. Broadcast Distribution At the same time we shoot the video web release, we could also shoot footage for a TV news package to be distributed to all TV stations, but especially to some key outlets with which we have sponsor relationships. Broadcast distribution would include guaranteed placements, a satellite feed, FTP access for stations and phone calls to DWJ's contacts at news programs across the country. We have arrangements with several syndicated news/talk shows, and with a satellite feed which we pitch to TV news shows, we can guarantee TV viewership of at least 3 million. |
